Viagra is a drug used to treat impotence in men. Viagra increases the body's ability to achieve and maintain an adequate perfusion of the corpora cavernosa. Viagra does not protect you from getting sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. It is not a "recreational" drug. Viagra is available by prescription only.

About 30 million U.S. men have complete or partial erectile dysfunction. The disorder affects about 1 in 4 men 65 and older.

Viagra and HIV
Viagraź does NOT protect you from getting sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

How Viagra works
Male response is the result of an increase in blood flow into certain internal areas of the pudenda.

Viagra works by enhancing the effects of one of the chemicals the body normally released into the pelvic organs during arousal. This allows an increase of blood flow into these organs.
